about the cultline
I started The Cultline because I got tired of how hard it is to find a golf course that actually fits what you want.
Not just what's nearby. Not just who has a tee time. Not just some polished review that tells you nothing.
I wanted to know the real stuff.
Is the course in good shape or just living off its reputation?
Is the pace brutal?
Is it worth the money?
Is the food any good if you want to hang around after?
Are the staff great, or is the starter about to act like he's guarding Augusta?
The more I played, the more obvious it became. There are a ton of golf courses out there, and no easy way to cut through the noise and figure out where you actually want to spend your time and money.
That's why I built The Cultline.
It's a place to find courses, share real opinions, and help more people play better rounds at the right spots. No fake nice. No country-club filter. No vague "great track" takes from people who won't tell you anything useful.
I want this to be a community built on honesty. The kind of honesty golfers actually talk with in the cart, in the parking lot, or over a beer after the round.
The hidden gems.
The overpriced traps.
The places worth driving for.
The places you'd never go back to.
And this is only the start.
I think there's a better way to do all of it — finding courses, planning golf trips, buying and selling clubs, sharing sim builds, trading tips, and building a real community around the game without all the gatekeeping and bullshit.
So that's The Cultline.
If you love a course, say it.
If a place is all hype, say that too.
If you've got an idea that would make this better for golfers, send it.
We're building the thing we always wished existed.
